The Camp Pendleton Historical Society is raising money for the statue from community members and friends of the Marine Corps. The nonprofit Camp Pendleton Historical Society has made a formal donation offer to the Marine Corps and the monument project. The monument to honor the legacy of Maj.Gen. Joseph H.
