Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst is America’s Premier Joint Warfighting Base and is also considered a Mega Base. 18 miles southeast of Trenton, N.J., MDL spans more than 20 miles east to west and is bordered by 2 of the largest counties in N.J, Ocean and Burlington.  Our Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, civilians and families at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., is home to five wings. The 87th Air Base Wing is the host wing and includes over 88 Mission partners spread across 42,000 contiguous acres.
